Our course director Dr. John Sharry has adapted the Parents Plus Adolescent's Programme exclusively for the   Help Me To Parent  Teen parenting course. The Parent's Plus Adolescent's Programme considers how parents can connect with and build good relationships with their teenage children, while also being firm and influential in their lives. The video illustrates well-researched principles of effective communication and conflict resolution which parents can use with their teenagers.

As well as role-play scenes and interviews with parents, the videos include interviews with young people about what it is like to be a teenager and their views about what makes a family run smoothly. It's never too late to do a parenting course and this teenage course can help you enhance your relationship with your teenager. This course is also suitable for those working with teenagers.

The course runs for one full Saturday commencing from 9.30am to 4.30pm.

Topics Include:

Getting to Know and Connecting With Your Teenager
Communicating Effectively
Negotiating Rules and Boundaries
Teaching Teenagers Responsibility
Managing Conflict
 Solving Problems Together

All courses are presented by a qualified facilitator and include video material of real life parenting situations. The courses are based on the award winning Parents Plus Programmes.
